Emergency Dentistry

Dental emergencies are stressful. Our aim is to assess the situation quickly, relieve discomfort, and stabilise the tooth, then plan any definitive treatment once you are comfortable.

What counts as an emergency

Persistent pain, swelling, trauma to a tooth, and lost or broken restorations all warrant prompt assessment. If you are unsure, contact the practice and we will advise.

After the visit

Emergency care is often the first step. We will explain what has been done, what remains, and the options for restoring the tooth properly.

Planning and next steps

Treatment begins with an examination and a written plan. You will receive an estimate before any work is scheduled, along with a clear description of sequencing, appointment length, and aftercare. See our patient information page for what to expect on the day.

Next step

Begin with a conversation

Tell us what you would like to change, or simply book a check-up. We will listen first, examine carefully, and explain your options in plain language.
